AMSOIL SIROCCO® ISO-32/46 Compressor Oil

AMSOIL SIROCCO Synthetic Compressor Oil is a long-life fluid that lasts several times longer than conventional mineral oils. It is designed to increase operating efficiency, reduce energy consumption and lower maintenance costs for rotary screw compressors and vacuum pumps. SIROCCO effectively protects against wear, oxidation, foam and rust, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and reliably.

Use AMSOIL SIROCCO in single- and multi-stage rotary screw compressors and single-stage vacuum pumps that specify either an ISO 32 or ISO 46 compressor oil. It is recommended as a replacement for other polyalkylene glycol (PAG) compressor oils or coolants, including Sullair Sullube.*

AMSOIL SIROCCO® Synthetic Compressor Oil is a premium ester-based lubricant engineered to protect rotary screw compressors and vacuum pumps against corrosion and wear in a wide range of operating conditions. It inhibits oxidation, foam and corrosion for increased compressor performance, extended oil and equipment life and reduced energy consumption and maintenance costs.

Formulated with premium synthetic esters and non-detergent additives, AMSOIL SIROCCO provides superior lubricity and excellent thermal conductivity that helps increase equipment efficiency by reducing operating temperatures and energy consumption.

Cleaner system components help extend oil drain intervals and equipment service life, resulting in reduced downtime and maintenance costs. AMSOIL SIROCCO naturally resists oxidation to inhibit sludge, carbon and varnish deposits and keep components clean.

The high viscosity index and flash, fire and auto-ignition points of AMSOIL SIROCCO provide superior protection in high-temperature environments compared with typical petroleum-based compressor oils. Although AMSOIL SIROCCO helps improve fire safety, it cannot be considered non-flammable.

A low pour point and lack of paraffins (wax) make AMSOIL SIROCCO an excellent all-season lubricant. It maintains exceptional cold-flow performance in subzero temperatures for easier cold starts and fast startup protection that helps prevent premature wear of critical components.

Many compressor oils absorb water, significantly shortening oil life, plugging filters and causing equipment rust and corrosion. AMSOIL SIROCCO readily separates from water so it can be drained from the system for extended oil and equipment life.

After installation, shut the compressor down for 15 minutes every 24 hours to allow water to settle in the drainage reservoir. AMSOIL SIROCCO is compatible with petroleum oils, most synthetic oils and common compressor gasses, seals, paints and plastics listed below.

Not Recommended as a replacement for or for use with Sullair Sullube 24 KT silicone-based compressor oil or for use in refrigeration or breathing air compressors.

AMSOIL SIROCCO has a high level of solvency and may release deposits left in the system. Thoroughly drain the old oil, change the filters and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to remove any residue before installing. Regularly check filters and oil/air separators for the first 500 hours of operation and replace as necessary.

Service life of up to 8,000 hours is possible, subject to operating conditions, maintenance practices and monitoring with routine oil analysis every 1,000 hours.

AMSOIL SIROCCO is available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, 275-gallon totes and bulk quantities. Please allow two to four weeks for tote delivery.
